Bhagyalakshmi is a very famous dubbing artist of south India. She is the top female dubbing artist of Malayalam, most popular with Manichitrathaazhu (1993), where she dubbed for its female Shobana.
The Tamil dialogues of this movie delivered by Shobana onscreen played a significant role in the success of this movie, and Shobana bagged a National award as well as state award for best actress for the same. She was the first Artist who won Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing Artist for Female Category and she won it in the year 1991.
